Thomas W. Smelstor was a standout ice hockey goalie at NU from1965 to 1969. From 1967-1969 he was All-ECAC Division II andAll-East, garnering All-American honors in 1969. Tom, who amassedover 2,000 career saves, owns sports stores in Hanover, Mass. andcoached in the hockey and track programs at Norwood High School atthe time of induction.
