The wife of the late Joe Sabol, former Norwich football coach and athletic director, she still kept strong ties to the school. As an honorary inductee, Ruth was an active participant in the hockey Blue Line and Touchdown Club booster clubs, volunteered at the campus’ Sullivan museum, administed a scholarship in her husband’s name and was a regular attendee of the Allen Doyle and Joe Sabol Golf Classics. Ruth passed away in 2017.
