"I was very surprised but it's a big compliment," Chiffer McKay said. "I had a great swimming career and a really successful senior year. It was really awesome going out like that."

Chiffer McKay swam for head coach Stephen Looke during her four-year career and gave thanks to how much he helped her grow and improve as a swimmer during her time in Northfield.

"We worked really well together," she said. "I was able to learn a lot from him and he helped make me a better swimmer."
