Hall of Fame
White was a four-year standout for the women's basketball team. Her career totals include 1,043 points, and 1,007 rebounds, one of only a handful of Cadets to reach the 1,000 mark in both statistical categories for their career. Over her four year career, White was named to the ECAC Honor Roll and had a single game high of 37 points, and earned team MVP as a senior.Â
As a sophomore, White averaged 16.1 points per game helping Norwich reach a 17-3 overall record. To open that campaign, she took home the Barrington Tournament MVP along with New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) All-Star Team recognition.Â
"I look back on my time at Norwich and think about how much I enjoyed the ladies that I played with and being a part of a family," White said. "A few of my teammates from back then are in the Hall of Fame and it feels fantastic to join them now. One of the only games my mom was able to attend was the game in which I scored my 1000th point so that will always be one of my favorite memories."Â
After graduating from Norwich, White entered into coaching as an assistant at Middlebury College, and was the Head Coach at Mount Mansfield High School for four years.Â
