The late Roger W. Fisher, while an outstanding wrestler in hissenior year, is best remembered for his play on the polo team. Forfour years the team's laeder and best player, he led the nationallyrespected Norwich polo squad on tours that extended as far asChicago. Among his club's most memorable moments were the 1926defeat of defending national champion, Harvard, and an appearanceat the Intercollegiate Polo Championships at Rye, N.Y. Roger servedin the Reserve Corp of the United States Calalry and later foundeda contracting and building firm in his native Fitchburg, where hewas active in the city council, the Masonic Lodge, the Rotary Club,and the Historical Society.
