    Dist. Letterman Award - Soccer

Cox, gaining the second distinguished letterman award, gained his athletic fame in men’s soccer as a three-year letterman. His post-graduate success is most impressive, as he was executive vice-president at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and now owns and operates Coffee Enterprises.

Cox's strong relationship with his former soccer teammates continues to this day. "I was fortunate to have a wonderful experience with soccer due to working with some very strong teammates," he said. "Those guys made me into a better player because of the competition in practice. We continue to keep in contact to this day," he added. "That is one of the things I love about Norwich. The friends you make here truly are for a lifetime."

Cox has also starred post-collegiately in athletics playing 'A' level pro and amateur racquetball.

While his work in the coffee business is well known, he is most proud of "Grounds for Health" an international non-profit he co-founded that works with coffee-growing communities to establish sustainable cervical cancer prevention programs.

"It's been an opportunity for us to give back to our communities and many others around the world." Cox said.
