Dr.Kevin Crowley has been serving the Norwich Athletics Department since 1979 when he was named team physician. He has served under three university presidents, four football coaches, and four hockey coaches. On any given weekend, when Norwich Athletics teams teams take to the field of competition, one can see Dr.Crowly on the sidelines, on duty. Crowley made his first to Norwich ata tender age of three days old. His father's graduation
from NU was the occasion. The elder Crowley carried Kevin onto Sabine Field. Eighteen years later, the younger Crowley returned to Norwich as "Rock Crowley," majoring in Biology . He rose to the rank of Cadet Major and was on the Dean's List for all four years. Crowley was also a member of the color guard and participated in intramurals for two years. As a senior, he penned the following for the Norwich War Whoop. "Learn as much as you can about everything so that some day you might help others learn too." Crowley graduated summa cum laude from Norwich in 1970 and went on to medical school at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania, graduating in 1974, From there, he moved on to Fort Bragg. North Carolina, where he served as chief resident and as teaching fellow. In 1979, he returned tp private practices in Northfield. Kevin is a naive of Wilmington, Delaware , and he is married to the former Valerie Thompson. He is a member of the Northfield Conversational Club, one of the oldest men's clubs in the nation. In 2000, the NU Alumni Association presented Crowley with the Alumni Director's Award.
