Dist. Letterman Award - Baseball, Soccer

The first of two Distinguished Letterman winners in this year’s Hall of Fame class was a four-year member of the baseball and soccer teams at Norwich.

Keefe was elected co-captain of both teams during his senior season as well as serving on the Honor Committee with the NU Corps of Cadets. He graduated with high honors, while starting as a wing for the soccer team for three years and played outfield for the baseball team for three years.

Keefe is an active member in the Norwich University Blue Line Club which supports the men’s and women’s hockey programs.

“Being inducted into the Norwich Hall of Fame brings back a lot of memories,” Keefe said. “There were certainly some good times and some tough times. Back then we didn’t have too many winning teams so I was pretty proud of the fact my senior season we had a soccer and baseball team that both had winning records.”

Post Norwich, Keefe immediately went into the insurance business. He is currently the President of Corcoran and Havlin Insurance, an independent agency outside of Boston. He has three daughters; Victoria, Jacqueline, Georgie.
