    Bob Anderson was a two-sport athlete at Norwich, serving as team captain for both the football and lacrosse teams as a senior. Anderson was the starting tight end for the 1984-85 Norwich Football team that is in the NU Athletic Hall of Fame. He was the team's second-leading receiver as a junior and senior. During Anderson's senior campaign, the cadets went 9-2, which is the best record in program history and hosted an ECAC Bowl Game against Ithaca College. 
    In lacrosse, Anderson was NU's leading scorer for three years and a three-time first team all-league selection. He was also named a starter in the East-West All-Star Game. 
    Anderson served as a battalion commander as a senior and rose to the rank of Cadet Lieutenant Colonel. He was twice selected as class president and was a three-year member of the honor committee, serving as committee chairman during his sophomore and senior years. Anderson was also a member of Skull and Swords/ 
    Anderson majored in modern languages and was a four-year staff member of WNUB, the campus radio station. He also volunteered with the Norwich chapter of Big Brothers & Big Sisters. As a senior, Anderson was the recipient of the Garritty Award; given to one senior who excelled in leadership, athletics, academics, and corps leadership. 
    Anderson was a military intelligence officer in the U.S. Army for five years and led troops in the Panama invasion. After the military, he earned a master's degree at Harvard and was an administrator at the Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, CA. 
    Anderson has been married to his wife Heather for nine years and together, they own Leading Challenges, a performance training company for business executives. The couple has two Children, Sierra Lynn (5) and Camdem Powell (3). Anderson is an avid outdoorsman and currently lives in Stowe, VT .
