The legendary men's ice hockey coach is this year's honorary inductee into the Hall of Fame. McShane guided the Cadets to four NCAA Division III National Championships in his remarkable 23-year career at the helm of the Norwich men's ice hockey program. McShane took the program to new heights, leading it to 12 NCAA Division III Frozen Four appearances and compiling a 497-130-38 record as the Cadets' bench boss. He was named the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Coach of the Year a record 11 times and won five American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Ed Jeremiah National Coach of the Year awards.
