Gary E. Vaughn’s career at NU included baseball, crosscountry, gold and skiing. In 1958 he was the NationalIntercollegiate Downhill Ski Champion. Gary advanced to the UnitedStates Army Ski team in 1959-60, was the United States AlpineChampion in 1959, and skied on the US Olympic squad in 1960. He hascoached the Alpine Ski teams at Norwich, Dartmouth, and Middlebury.At the time of induction, Gary was a recreation commissioner inJericho, Vt.
