Hall of Fame
Rob Shannon was a three-year letterwinner in football. He was All-State and All-Collegiate from 1963-1965 and was named to the Little All-New England Team honorable mention in1965. Rob set six Norwich Records in pass receptions and receiving yardage in a single game, season and career. Active on campus, Rob was a member of the Corps of Cadets and the junior class honor committee. Rob received his bachelor's degree in history. A resident of Millville, New Jersey, Rob and his wife Eda have four stepchildren, Brain Musto, Jennifer Goranson and Rebecca Shannon. Rob has been co--worker of the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home for over 30 years. He was elected Commissioner of Millville for four terms. He is a member of the Jaycees and Kiwanis and has helped raise over 200,000 for Millville Youth Athletics through the Rob Shannon Slo-pitch Tournament. Rob becomes the third member of the class of '66 to join the Hall of Fame.
