Hall of Fame
Paul E. Stukowski was a star basketball player at NU. A four-year performer, he captained the team in his senior year, when he was named All-East and played in the Hall-of-Fame game at Springfield, MA. An All-State guard for three years, Paul averaged 26.7 points per game as a senior (with a single game high of 43 points). His career total of 1,366 points was a school record until fellow Hall-of-Famer Joe Marcewicz (1882 points) eclipsed it in 1977. Paul made several regional and weekly all-star teams throughout his career. A Dean's List student, he held the rank of lieutenant in the NU Corps of Cadets and served for six years in the USAR after graduation.Â
Paul earned his M.A. in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College in 1980 and is currently the Assistant Chief Probation Officer for the Worcester District Court. He has a strong background in social work foster home placement, and abuse and neglect investigations.
Paul is a YMCA member and a volunteer in the Varsity Club at St. Mary's High School in Worcester.
A native of Worcester, he resides in Rutland, MA with his children, Mark and Amy. His wife, Ann Marie, passed away in 1985.Â
