NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich University
men's and women's swimming and diving teams hosted
Bentley University in a dual meet at Goodyear Pool on Saturday
afternoon.
The Falcons swept the dual as the men won 139-88 and the women
nabbed a 111-85 victory.
On the men's side freshman Chris Danieli (Chelmsford, Mass.) picked up
second in the 50-yard freestyle event and second place in the
1-meter diving competition.
Sophomore Chris Greenwood (Brookfield, Conn.) took
second place in the 200-yard breaststroke.
In women's competition freshman Meghan Duell (Amonk, N.Y.) finished in second
in the 1,000-yard freestyle while Morgan Chapman (Monument, Co.) took second in
the 50-yard freestyle.
Junior Justina George (Wallingford, Conn.) finished
in second in 1-meter diving.
The Cadets are next in action at the GNAC
Invitational/Championships hosted by Simmons College. The two-day
competition begins on Friday, December 6th and continues
all day on Saturday, December 7th.
