NORTHFIELD, Vt. - The Norwich University men's swimming & diving team continued its dominant dual meet stretch on Saturday afternoon, winning all 14 events in which they entered in a 130-50 victory over Plymouth State University on Senior Day at Goodyear Pool.
Prior to the meet, the Cadets recognized eight graduating senior student-athletes across both the men's and women's programs, including
John Connor Hallstrom (Bethany, Conn.),
Adrian Riendeau (Ridgecrest, Calif.), and
Pieter Venema (Palmer, Alaska), while women's seniors honored were Emily Faint, Abbey Houghton, Reilly Laitala, Brandy Lewis, and Deanna Parot.
Norwich opened the meet with a convincing win in the 400-yard medley relay, as
Drew Bylow (Monroe, Mich.), Riendeau,
Andrew Clark (Acworth, Ga.), and
Kristian Adlianitski (Cheshire, Conn.) touched first in 3:38.48.Â
Gabe Wettig (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) followed by taking the 400-yard individual medley in 4:46.23, before
Alex Sulyma (Warwick, R.I.) led a strong mid-distance effort with a win in the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.26).
The Cadets dominated the stroke races throughout the meet, as Riendeau took the 50-yard backstroke (24.71),
Max Ansell (Red Bank, N.J.) swept the breaststroke events with wins in the 50-yard (29.50) and 200-yard (2:25.67) distances, and Bylow notches victories in both the 200-yard backstroke (2:00.16) and 50-yard butterfly (23.96).
Clark collected another butterfly win in the 200-yard distance, finishing in 1:56.20, while Adlianitski continued his sprint dominance by winning the 100-yard freestyle (48.62) and later taking the 100-yard individual medley in 54.12.
Wettig earned his second win of the afternoon in the 50-yard freestyle (23.37), while Hallstrom cruised to victory in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:59.12.
The Cadets wrapped up the meet with a first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay, as Bylow, Ansell, Wettig, and
Noah Lowe (Latham, N.Y.) combined for a 1:33.51.

With the win, Norwich improves to 5-1 in dual meets and will close the regular season next Saturday, Jan. 24, at Eastern Connecticut State University at 12:00 p.m. The Cadets will then turn their attention to the 2026 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships, hosted by Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), where they will aim to defend their three-time conference title.
