WINTHROP, Mass. – The Norwich University men's swimming and diving team opened its season with a pair of individual event victories, earning recognition from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) as sophomore Drew Bylow (Monroe, Mich.) was named GNAC Swimmer of the Week and Kaleb Fulker (New Orleans, La.) earned GNAC Diver of the Week honors.

Bylow led the Cadets in the pool with a first-place finish in the men's pentathlon, recording a combined time of 2:40.48 across the five individual events. He delivered a strong all-around performance, highlighted by a victory in the 50-yard backstroke with a time of 25.82.

Bylow also secured a third-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 23.09, and recorded a time of 56.76 in the 100-yard individual medley. His performance across multiple events helped establish Norwich as a competitor to watch as the Cadets began their 2026-27 campaign.

On the diving board, Fulker added another event victory for Norwich, claiming first place in the 1-meter diving competition with a score of 139.27. His performance provided the Cadets with another strong showing at the season-opening meet.

The weekly awards recognize the individual efforts of Bylow and Fulker as Norwich looks to build momentum early in the season.

The Cadets return to action on Saturday, Oct. 24, when they host Regis College at Goodyear Pool.
