Men's Swimming & Diving: Bylow earns fourth GNAC Swimmer of the Week of the season, Adlianitski and Hallstrom land on Honor Roll

WINTHROP, Mass. - The Norwich University men's swimming & diving team earned another round of weekly recognition from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) on Monday afternoon, as Drew Bylow (Monroe, Mich.) was named GNAC Swimmer of the Week for the fourth time this season, while Kristian Adlianitski (Cheshire, Conn.) and John Connor Hallstrom (Bethany, Conn.) were both selected to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll.

The Cadets closed out their regular season on Saturday with a commanding 150-112 victory over Eastern Connecticut State University, claiming 10 of 14 events and finishing the dual-meet slate with a 6-1 record heading into the conference championship meet.

Bylow delivered another dominant all-around performance, sweeping all three of his individual events.  The sophomore captured the 200-yard freestyle in 1:51.82, the 100-yard backstroke in 55.44, and the 50-yard butterfly in 24.52, while also contributing to Norwich's runner-up finish in the 200-yard medley relay.

Adlianitski powered the Cadets with a trio of sprint victories, touching first in the 50-yard freestyle (22.00), 100-yard freestyle (49.11), and 50-yard breaststroke (26.67).  The junior also swam the second leg of the 200-yard medley relay that finished second in 1:41.05.

Hallstrom anchored the distance events with a sweep of both freestyle races, winning the 1000-yard freestyle in 10:09.54 and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:00.09. He also swam the third leg of the Cadets' second-place 200-yard freestyle relay squad.

With the regular season now complete, the Cadets turn their attention to the 2026 GNAC Championships, set for a three-day meet at Worcester Polytechnic Institute beginning Friday, Feb. 6, where Norwich will look to defend its three consecutive conference titles.
