WINTHROP, Mass. – Norwich University men's golfer Cooper Bertrand (Caledon, Ont.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Golfer of the Week for the second time this season following a strong performance at the Castleton Invitational in Rutland, Vt.

Bertrand led the way for the Cadets, finishing tied for fifth overall at +7 across the two-round tournament.

The senior opened the tournament with a strong first-round performance, carding a +3 before on Saturday.

He returned to the course Sunday finishing with a +4 in the final round.

Bertrand's top-five finish helped lead Norwich to a 4th place out of 9 teams finish during another competitive weekend on the course.

This marks his second GNAC Golfer of the Week honor of the young season.
