WINTHROP, Mass. - Following a season that saw the Norwich University men's lacrosse team return to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Semifinals, four Cadets earned All-Conference recognition, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Senior attacker
Drew Fleury (Nashua, N.H.) highlighted the Norwich honorees with a spot on the GNAC All-Conference First Team, while sophomore attacker
Jake Marcotte (Old Orchard Beach, Maine), senior defender
Robert Carr (Amsterdam, N.Y.), and junior short-stick defensive midfielder
David Myers (Hainesport, N.J.) each landed on the Third Team.
Freshman defender
Jack Bailey (Weymouth, Mass.) was selected as Norwich's representative on the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
Fleury becomes Norwich's first First Team All-GNAC selection since Mason McMahon '24 earned the honor in 2024. The recognition also marks the third straight All-Conference selection of Fleury's career after he collected Third Team honors in both 2024 and 2025.
The senior attacker closed his Norwich career with another standout campaign, ranking seventh in the GNAC in both total points (65) and total goals (44), while sitting 12th in assists (21). He also ranked fifth in the conference in shots (150) and shots on goal (88), and added 48 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers.
Fleury led Norwich in goals and game-winning goals, ranked second on the team in points, assists, and ground balls, and tied for third in caused turnovers. He recorded at least one point in all 17 games he played, highlighted by a career-best nine-point performance on six goals and three assists in Norwich's critical road win at Dean College late in the regular season. He finished the year with six outings of at least five points and earned two selections to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Division III Team of the Week.
Marcotte earned the first All-Conference honor of his career after leading the Cadets in total points (68) and assists (29), while ranking second on the team in goals (39) and game-winning goals (two). Across the GNAC, he finished fifth in total points, fifth in assists, 12th in goals, and 30th in shooting percentage at 39.0 percent.
The sophomore attacker recorded at least one point in all 16 games he played and posted nine outings with at least five points. His strongest performance came in Norwich's 19-5 GNAC Quarterfinal victory at Emmanuel College, where he tallied a career-high seven points on a career-best five goals and two assists.
Marcotte was named GNAC Player of the Week once, earned three GNAC Honor Roll selections, and landed on the NEILA Division III Team of the Week following Norwich's postseason-opening win.
Carr anchored the Norwich defensive unit and earned his first career All-GNAC honor after appearing as one of the Cadets' most consistent close defenders. The senior finished the season with 19 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers, ranking 53rd in the GNAC in caused turnovers.
He recorded a caused turnover in nine games and collected at least one ground ball in 12 contests. Carr produced two caused turnovers in matchups against Saint Joseph's College of Maine and Emmanuel, and posted a season-high four ground balls against Emmanuel during the regular season.
Myers also earned the first All-Conference recognition of his career after delivering a strong season as a short-stick defensive midfielder. The junior ranked 45th in the GNAC in ground balls (37) and 31st in caused turnovers (15), tying for third on the team in caused turnovers and fourth in ground balls.
Myers added two goals and one assist offensively, while consistently impacting transition and defensive possessions. He recorded at least one caused turnover in nine games and at least one ground ball in 12 contests, including a season-high seven ground balls in Norwich's GNAC Semifinal matchup at Rivier. He also collected six ground balls in the GNAC Quarterfinal win at Emmanuel and five ground balls in the regular-season victory at Dean.
Fleury and Marcotte were also named to the GNAC All-Tournament Team after helping lead Norwich to the semifinal round. The duo combined for 11 points in the Cadets' quarterfinal victory at Emmanuel before leading Norwich's comeback effort in a narrow 13-11 semifinal setback at eventual GNAC champion Rivier.
Bailey represented Norwich on the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team, an honor awarded to one representative from each conference institution who exemplifies outstanding sportsmanship and character on and off the field. The freshman defender finished his debut season with 16 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers, including two games with multiple caused turnovers and two games with at least three ground balls.
Norwich concluded the 2026 season with a 9-8 overall record and a 7-4 mark in GNAC play. In Head Coach
Dylan Curry's first season at the helm, the Cadets advanced to the GNAC Semifinals for the first time since 2022 and pushed eventual champion Rivier in one of the league's most competitive postseason contests.
