ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Six members of the Norwich University men's tennis team earned placement on the Empire 8 Conference President's List for the Fall 2025 semester, as announced by the conference on Wednesday.
The Empire 8 recognized a record 1,773 student-athletes across its membership for President's List distinction, one of the league's most prestigious academic honors. To qualify, student-athletes must earn a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher while competing in an NCAA-sponsored sport, maintain positive conduct on and off campus, and be enrolled full-time at a member institution.
Norwich's honorees included
Brandon Adamson (Londonderry, N.H.),
Terrance Bayly-Henshaw (Scottsville, N.Y.),
Aerielle Harris (Las Vegas, Nev.),
Stephen Hartigan (Tyngsboro, Mass.),
David Littlefield (Goffstown, N.H.), and
Jaxson Redmond (Kennebunkport, Maine).
In addition to its individual recognition, the Norwich men's tennis program was named an Empire 8 All-Academic Team after posting a 3.23 grade point average during the fall semester. Teams must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher to receive All-Academic Team distinction. A league-record 194 teams across the conference were honored with the designation for Fall 2025.
Conference-wide, Empire 8 student-athletes combined for a 3.28 average GPA among 5,776 competitors during the fall semester, with nearly 31 percent earning President's List recognition.
The Cadets will open the 2026 spring campaign with three consecutive home matches, beginning Wednesday, Mar. 11, when Norwich welcomes Vermont State University Lyndon to Shapiro Fieldhouse for a 3:00 p.m. first serve.
