Men's Lacrosse: Curry appointed to NEILA leadership role as All-Star Game Coordinator

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - Norwich University men's lacrosse Head Coach Dylan Curry has been appointed as the All-Star Game Coordinator for the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA), as announced by the organization this week.

Curry joins a NEILA leadership board headed by Trinity College head coach Jason Tarnow (President) and Curry College's John Carroll (Vice President).  He will be supported in his new role by Maine Maritime Academy head coach Brandon Melville, who was named Assistant All-Star Game Coordinator.

"I am honored to serve on the NEILA Board as All-Star Game Coordinator," Curry said.  "I see the vision that Jason has for the NEILA and I am excited to be a part of the next chapter of the organization."

The NEILA All-Star Game is held annually to honor senior student-athletes across Divisions I, II, and III who have completed their collegiate careers in New England.  Players and coaches are nominated by NEILA member institutions, with final selections made by committee.  The event brings together top graduating talent in a regional showcase unique for including representatives from all three NCAA divisions.

Last year's All-Star Game featured 46 student-athletes from across the region and was hosted at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium on the campus of Providence College.  Admission to the event is free, and the game remains a cornerstone of NEILA's postseason programming.

Norwich has a proud tradition of participation in the NEILA All-Star Game, with 36 different Cadets earning selections since Steve Otto became the program's first representative in 1976.  The most recent Norwich honoree was Josh Jenkins in 2018.

In addition to All-Star recognition, NEILA sponsors an annual All-Academic Team.  Since 2015, Norwich has received 25 total All-Academic selections, beginning with Andrew Bracy's recognition as an Academic All-Region honoree.

Curry was named the eighth head coach in program history in July 2025 following a successful tenure as the defensive coordinator at NCAA Division II Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.  During his two years with the Eagles, he helped guide the program to a record-setting 9-7 campaign and its first-ever Sunshine State Conference playoff victory, while engineering the lowest goals-against average in program history.

Prior to Embry-Riddle, Curry held assistant coaching roles at Keene State College, Vermont State University Castleton, and Middletown North High School.  He has also coached with United Lacrosse and brings extensive experience training players across positions, including goalies and faceoff specialists.

A four-year player at Monmouth University, Curry was a member of the program's first MAAC regular season and tournament championship team in 2017.  He later earned his MBA from Vermont State University Castleton and began his college coaching journey as a graduate assistant.

Now leading the Cadets into the 2026 season, Curry continues to build Norwich's tradition of excellence, both on the field and in its connection to the greater New England lacrosse community.
