NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich University men's cross-country team delivered a strong performance on its home course Friday afternoon, placing second out of six teams at the third annual Norwich Cadet Cross Country Invitational, with Fitchburg State taking first place.
Senior
Seth Varin (Danielson, Conn.) paced the Cadets, clocking a time of 27:31.50 over the 8K course to finish third overall. Freshman
Shea Parish (Barrington, R.I.) continued his impressive rookie campaign, crossing in 29:21.50 to take ninth place, leading the way as eight Cadet runners finished in the top 30.
