NORTHFIELD, Vt. - The Cadets won a tight rematch against Castleton University by the score of 5-4 after showing significant improvement from their match earlier in the season.

The entire match was a true back and forth event.  The Cadets came out on top in the 1st, 3rd, and 5th singles match-ups as Dimitry Mucha (Harwinton, Conn.), Matthias Tchantouridze (Montpelier, Vt.), and Assumpta Nandawula (Bakersfield, Calif.) each were victorious.  Mucha battled back after dropping the first set to win the next two.  It was an early sign of how the entire match would go.  Both Tchantouridze and Nandawula won their match-ups in straight sets.

In doubles, Norwich won both the #1 and #3 match-ups to seal the victory on the day.  

The current two match winning streak brings the season record to 2-3 and the Cadets will look to even their record when they host Thomas College on Wednesday March 29th at 3:00 pm.
