NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich University Tennis team came up short Saturday afternoon with a defeat at the hand of Eastern Nazarene at Shapiro Fieldhouse.

The Lions took the upper hand early in the first singles match and never looked back. Mattias Tchantouridze (Montpelier, Vt.) took a couple games as did Molly Twombly (Rockport, Mass.) and Ethan Teluk (Manlius, N.Y.). In doubles action, Dimitry Mucha and Sebastian Mucha (Harwinton, Conn.) held their own but were ultimately defeated.

The Cadets will take the court at Shapiro Fieldhouse again Tuesday at 3 PM against NVU-Johnson.
