Box Score NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Junior Ian Kennedy (Gloucester, Mass.) of the Norwich University men's lacrosse team led the Cadets with four points on Tuesday, helping the hosts to a 9-6 victory over Curry College at Sabine Field.
Norwich improves to 1-4 on the season following the non-conference tilt while the Colonels even their overall record at 3-3. The Cadets have drawn even in the all-time series, 3-3, and picked up their first win over Curry since Mar. 25, 2015, an 8-4 decision at home.
Kennedy assisted three of his team's nine goals and sophomore Aidan Moulton (Danvers, Mass.) scored twice for the Cadets. Bowen's first goal of the year, off a dish from Kennedy, put the Cadets up by a 1-0 score only 4:12 into the contest. Lynch scored the first goal of his three-year career less than a minute later, increasing the Norwich lead to 2-0 in the first quarter. Curry, however, answered with three-straight goals to take a 3-2 lead after the first 15 minutes of action.

The offensive pace slowed in the second half, but Norwich was able to maintain its lead despite two goals from Curry in the third quarter. Jenkins and Moulton recreated their team's three-goal lead and, despite a goal from the Colonels with 10:40 left in the contest, Kennedy put home his first tally of the game with 10:23 left to create the 9-6 final score.
