SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Norwich
University wrestling team competed in a dual meet at Springfield
College on Wednesday night.
The Cadets fell to the Pride 28-12 in team competition.
Senior William Burns (Mascoutah, Ill.) topped Will
Henson by an 11-5 decision at 174 pounds.
Fellow senior Jacob
Towse (West Springfield, Mass.) defeated Michael Case
5-3 in a match that went into sudden-victory overtime in the
197-pound weight class.
The Cadets are next in action on Sunday, January 25th
at the New England Dual Championships hosted by Springfield. The
all-day meet is set to start at 10 a.m.
