BOSTON, MASS. – A second half rally helped lead Lasell College past Norwich University in the Cadets' 2012 Great Northeast Athletic Conference opener March 24.

Coach Neal Anderson's squad, dropping to 1-4 overall, rallied back from an early 4-1 deficit to tie it at 4-4 early in the third quarter. However, the Lasers (3-4 overall) responded with a four-goal attack from the late stages of the third period until the early section of the fourth quarter en route to the 8-5 win.

Sophomore midfielder Patrick Tommins (Fairfield, Conn.) led NU's individual efforts with two goals. Senior midfielder Patrick Sikora (Montpelier, Vt.) also compiled a two-point game with a goal and an assist.

The Maroon and Gold open a three-game week Wednesday, March 28, with a 7 p.m. faceoff at Emmanuel College in Boston, Mass.
