COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – The freshman duo of 125-pounder Alex Stewart (Ellicott City, Md.) and 157-pounder Nick Smith (Hanover, Mass.) topped the individual performances for Norwich University at the All-Academy Championships Feb. 5.

Stewart and Smith both were defeated in the first round but managed to come back into the consolation semifinals. The two were both stopped one match shy of the consolation finals.

Norwich returns to the mat Saturday, Feb. 11, for its 2011-12 dual season finale. Worcester Polytechnic Institute visits Andrews Gymnasium for a 1 p.m. match-up. Fans, friends and alumni of the Cadets can watch live video and tune in to live audio via a link at http://www.nsnsports.net/norwich.
