BOSTON, MASS. – Senior forward Ryan Robertson (Northfield, Vt.) sent home his third goal of the season but it wasn't quite enough for Norwich University to hold off a late comeback from Suffolk during a 2-1 loss Oct. 15.

Robertson' s score in the 75^th minute tied the Great Northeast Athletic Conference match-up at 1-1. However, the host Rams posted the eventual game-winner just over two minutes later.

Coach Kyle Dezotell's squad (7-8, 4-4 GNAC) held a 24-15 shots advantage, but Suffolk's goalkeeper picked up eight big saves. The duo of junior forward Garrett Shufelt (Clifton Park, N.Y.) and sophomore midfielder Wesley Keslin (Brossard, Que.) produced 14 shots of which six were aimed at the Rams' net.

Norwich concludes conference play and its 2011 home regular season schedule when Emmanuel and Rivier visit Howard Field Wednesday, Oct. 19, and Saturday, Oct. 22. Match times are 3 p.m. against Emmanuel and 2:30 p.m. against Rivier.
