The Cadets netted the only two goals of the second period as White and Patrick Sikora each tallied markers.

Norwich held Husson to just nine shots in the first half, and Nathan Proctor stopped both of the offerings that made it on goal as the Cadets carried a commanding 7-0 advantage into halftime.

Mattson's goal midway through the third quarter increased Norwich's lead to 8-0, but Husson (4-5) tallied a pair of markers in the final 3:10 to trim the Cadets' advantage to 8-2 after three quarters.

Three unanswered goals by Husson trimmed NU's lead to 8-5, before Marzeoti scored his second goal of the game with just under one minute to play to round out the scoring.

Proctor finished with seven saves to earn the victory between the pipes for the Cadets.

Husson outshot Norwich, 31-25, but the Cadets enjoyed a sizable edge in ground balls (53-27). NU also dominated the faceoffs, winning 14-of-18 on the night.
