SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Norwich University wrestling team took part in the 2010 Doug Parker Invitational at Springfield College this past Saturday, Nov. 20. Seventeen NU grapplers saw action over the course of the day's proceedings.
Freshman Chris Shenk went 3-2 in the 174-pound weight class to lead the Cadets for the tournament, while classmate Mike Babbin authored a 2-2 record at 165 pounds.
Freshmen Nick Roberts (157), Cody Griswold (165), Charles Constantino (184) and Henry Marley (197) all went 1-2 for NU in their respective weight classes.
Norwich returns to action in two weeks when it heads to Gorham, Maine, to compete in the University of Southern Maine Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 4.
