EWING, N.J. - Joey Eon placed third in the 149-pound bracket to lead the Norwich University wrestling team at the TCNJ Invitational on Sunday (Nov. 8).

Eon defeated an opponent from Navy, 7-1, in the opening round. In his next bout, he won by fall over a wrestler from Gloucester.

Eon lost, 7-3, to an opponent from Nassau to fall into the third-place match, where he downed another opponent from Navy, 7-2.

Norwich returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 14, when the Cadets travel to Bristol, R.I., to take part in the Roger Williams Invitational. Bouts are slated to begin at 10 a.m.
