NORTHFIELD, Vt. - Two Cadet wrestlers recorded
wins by fall, but it was not enough as the Norwich University
wrestling team dropped its season opener, 27-15, to visiting Roger
Williams University Saturday afternoon at Andrews Hall.
Senior Nick Monaco pinned Martin Mitchell in 6:14 at 141 pounds,
and freshman Joey Eon pinned Nick Harrick in 4:28 at 149 pounds to

Ray Gauthier was the only other NU wrestler to win a match,
taking a 6-4 decision from Phillip Ernst in the 184-pound bout.
Roger Williams (1-0) won the other seven matches to secure the
victory.
Norwich returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 7, when the Cadets
