Wrestling: Hunter Doubles Up Norwich, 30-15

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Clayton Brittingham, Connor Keating and Ray Gauthier each picked up wins as the Norwich University wrestling team lost to Hunter College, 30-15, Saturday afternoon at the 21st annual Budd Whitehill Division III National Duals, hosted by Lycoming College.

Brittingham took a 5-2 decision from Bill Calvacca at 165 pounds. Keating picked up a 1-0 win by decision over Matt Cartusciello at 157 pounds. Gauthier, meanwhile, secured a 9-3 win over Ryan Baxter at 184 pounds. Jake Ferguson picked up Norwich's only other win, as he won by forfeit at 174 pounds.

Hunter won the six remaining bouts to claim the victory.

Brittingham and Keating both went 3-1 at the Duals, while Gauthier and Ferguson each recorded 2 two wins apiece.

Norwich (1-6) will return to action on Sunday, Jan. 18, when the Cadets travel to Bristol, R.I., to compete in the New England Duals.
