PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Norwich University tennis team saw its season come to an end on Thursday afternoon as the Cadets dropped a 7-2 decision to Johnson & Wales in a GNAC Tournament semifinal match.

The fourth-seeded Cadets, who lost their final four matches of the season, conclude their 2008 slate with a 6-6 overall record. Top-seeded Johnson & Wales improves to 10-1 on the year, and the Wildcats advance to the GNAC Tournament championship match.

Peter Hooper had a hand in both of Norwich's points, as the junior won 7-6, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Hooper also teamed with Travis Tyler to take an 8-2 verdict at No. 1 doubles.
