ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Members of the Norwich University women's swimming & diving team concluded the 2024-25 season at the 2025 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Swimming & Diving Championship, hosted by Navy at Lejeune Hall from Friday, Feb. 28 through Sunday, Mar. 2.
The Cadets tallied eight points in a competitive 22-team field, taking on swimmers from Div. I, II, and III institutions. Bucknell University earned first-place behind 647 points, topping hosts Navy's 616-point performance. The University of Pennsylvania rounded out the top three with a 565 score.
A relay team comprised of
Brandy Lewis (Strafford, Vt.),
Deanna Parot (San Diego, Calif.),
Kaylin Creel (Huntersville, N.C.), and
Alannah Kelliher (Middleboro, Mass.) took to the pool first in the 200-yard freestyle relay on Friday, capturing a 1:44.64 time in preliminaries. They returned shortly later for finals, coming in at 13th while topping their original time by nearly a full second, touching the wall in 1:43.77.
Kelliher also qualified for an individual event, swimming in the preliminaries for the 50-yard freestyle on Friday. Her time of 25.44 bested competitors from Bridgewater State University, Rider University, and Iona University.
Lily Mead from Loyola University (Md.) claimed Women's Swimmer of the Meet honors, while Bucknell's Dan Schinnerer was dubbed the Women's Coach of the Meet.

The Norwich University women's swimming & diving team, alongside the men's swimming & diving team, concluded yet another nationally successful season, which saw the Cadets sweep the 2024-25 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships for the third straight season.
