HENNIKER, NH - Norwich University men's golf team won the first dual meet of the season against New England College (NEC). Playing for the third day in a row, the Cadets defeated NEC 6-3. The victory against NEC also gave Head Coach Cam Clarke his first career dual meet victory.
The day prior, the two teams had captured first and second place in the Norwich Invitational. At the invitational, NEC shot a school record 298 to defeat Norwich by 8. The Cadets got several strong performances which helped propel them to move to 1-0 in dual meets so far this season.

Clark Kerner, and
Matt Harvey were each victorious in their individual match-ups.
"Our guys did a great job competing and coming away with a 6 to 3 match victory," said Coach Clarke. "I am proud of the whole team's effort in this fun and different style match format." Giambattista and Hartanto continue to be particularly impressive early in the young season.
The team will travel to Middlebury this coming weekend to play in the Duke Nelson Invitational.
