2016-17: Placed third for the second consecutive season at the GNAC Championships in 28:34 as Norwich won its second-straight GNAC title … earned GNAC First Team All-Conference honors for second straight season … named to the U.S. Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Individual team for second consecutive season and helped the men’s team earn their first-ever team honor from the USTFCCCA.

2015-16: Finished third at the GNAC Championships in 28:24 to help the Cadets secure their eighth GNAC title and earned GNAC First Team All-Conference honors along the way … was named GNAC Runner of the Week three times … earned six GNAC Rookie of the Week awards … became the first male runner in Norwich history to be named to the U.S. Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Individual honors list.

Before Norwich: 2015 graduate of Naugatuck High School … competed in four years of cross country, indoor track and outdoor track … served as captain of cross country and track for two seasons … named to All-Naugatuck Valley League honors for cross country twice (junior and senior seasons),  twice for indoor track (sophomore and senior) and once for outdoor track (senior) … won two NVL team championships in indoor track (sophomore and senior seasons), two in cross country (junior and senior) and one in outdoor track (senior) … part of an undefeated cross country squad as a senior.

Personal: Son of Jeff and Laura Hale … majoring in Political Science … has two older sisters, Shelby and Shannon, and one older brother, Brendan.
