BEFORE NORWICH: 2014 graduate of Duxbury High School… lettered in football, ice hockey, and lacrosse for the Dragons… Led the Dragons to the state semi-finals in lacrosse and played three years of ice hockey.
PERSONAL: Born on December 21, 1995… son of Gary and Linnea Whear… father was member of the 1979 team at Babson College ice hockey team as goalie that won its first-ever ECAC Division II Tournament bid, posting a new Division III record six shutouts and led the region with a 2.40 goals against average, helping him become the first ACHA All-America selection in program history… mother was a member of the women’s basketball team at Framingham State… triplets to siblings of Scott, who plays lacrosse for Wheaton College, and Sydney… member of the Corps of Cadets… majoring in management and accounting.
