Biography

2014: Appeared in 21 games, starting 19 ... batted .246 with one double, one home run and seven RBIs ... swiped eight bases.

2013: Led team in hitting at .297...played great centerfield, playing in 27 of 29 games...had a .358 OBP and scored 11 runs...added six stolen bases...hit two doubles and one triple...had six multi-hit games.

2012: Saw action in 34 games as a sophomore...had 11 rbis, 21 total hits and five doubles.

2011: Started 14 of 15 games played in the outfield as a first-year player ... batted .220 with nine hits and two doubles over 41 at-bats ... ranked fourth on the team with seven RBI ... registered 24 putouts and an outfield assist defensively.  

BEFORE NORWICH: Played four years of baseball with two years on varsity at East Hampton High School ... recieved the "McCloud" award ... also ran four years of indoor track ... played Legion ball for Connecticut Post 156.

PERSONAL: Son of Robert and Daphne Schaub ... has a sister, Cayla, and a brother, Thomas ... earned the "Architecture" award in high school ... majoring in English.
