PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Norwich women's ice hockey junior
Livia Brooks (Walpole, Mass.) earned her third Little East Conference (LEC) Player of the Week honor of the season for the week ending Jan. 11, 2026, following another dominant offensive performance.
Brooks continued her strong junior campaign with a five-point week against Vermont State Castleton. She kick-started Friday's offensive barrage with a goal off the rush that proved to be the game-winning goal, before adding two third-period assists as the Cadets scored four times in the final frame to complete a three-point night.
The two-time All-American added two more assists in Saturday's contest, both coming in the opening period. Brooks helped set up
Jordan Brady (Green Bay, Wis.) for the eventual game-winner and later assisted on
Ellin Rees' (Cardiff, Wales, U.K.) goal to cap a five-point weekend against the Spartans.
The recognition marks the eighth weekly award of Brooks' career and her fourth career LEC Player of the Week honor.
Through conference play, Brooks either leads or is tied for the LEC lead in goals (8), assists (11), points (19), game-winning goals (3), and power-play goals (3). Nationally, she ranks 16th in Division III in assists per game (0.79) and 17th in points per game (1.36).
Brooks and the Cadets will look to continue their momentum when they host a weekend series against Keene State on January 16-17.
