KEENE, N.H. – The Norwich University men's golf team turned in another strong showing at the Keene State Invitational on a rainy Thursday afternoon, finishing in a tie for third place with Western Connecticut State after carding a team score of 312 at Keene Country Club.

Cooper Bertrand (Caledon, Ont.) led the way for the Cadets, firing a 74 (+3) to earn a share of second place overall in the 34-player field. Bertrand finished just one stroke behind medalist Taylor Miller of Keene State, who posted a 73 (+2).
Norwich had a pair of golfers post top 15 finishes, as
Harrison Giambattista (Danielson, Conn.) and
JD Mahoney (Ellicott City, Md.) shot 79 (+8) to tie for 11th.

The Cadets will have their penultimate competition before the GNAC Championships on Sunday, when they face New England College in match play on Sept. 28 at 12 p.m.
