CANDIA, N.H.- The Norwich Men's Golf team returned to the course Friday afternoon to compete in the four-team Battle for Boston Invitational hosted by Suffolk University, where they earned second place.

Two golfers tied for the best individual finishes for the Cadets in Cooper Bertrand (Caledon, Ont.) and Harrison Giambattista (Danielson, Conn.) in a tie for fourth. Bertrand made birdie on three holes on the front nine to go along with making par on much of the back nine to earn a +4. The back nine was also kind to Giambattista, who birdied consecutive holes and three of the first five on the back end to also reach +4.

Norwich Leaders:

• T-4^th, Cooper Bertrand and Harrison Giambattista, +4
• 9^th, Ben van Waterschoot, +7
• T-14^th, Jack Dunn, +10

The Cadets will now take part in the two-day Vermont State Castleton Invitational over the weekend in Rutland, Vt., with day one teeing off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20.
