BARRE, Vt.- The Norwich Men's Golf team returned to the green on Wednesday to host the annual Tony Mariano Invitational at the Country Club of Barre, where they reclaimed first-place, winning the tournament for the third time in its four-year history.

The Norwich A-Team was led by reigning Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Golfer of the Week Cooper Bertrand (Caledon, Ont.), who led the pack with a -2 (69) and took home medalist honors by three strokes over Graham Hassan of New England College. Other Cadet standouts included Colin Elliott (Peterborough, Ont.) and JD Mahoney (Ellicott City, Md.).
