BARRE, Vt.- The Norwich Men's Golf team returned to the green on Wednesday to host the annual Tony Mariano Invitational at the Country Club of Barre, where they reclaimed first-place, winning the tournament for the third time in its four-year history.
The Norwich A-Team was led by reigning Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Golfer of the Week
Cooper Bertrand (Caledon, Ont.), who led the pack with a -2 (69) and took home medalist honors by three strokes over Graham Hassan of New England College. Other Cadet standouts included
Colin Elliott (Peterborough, Ont.) and
JD Mahoney (Ellicott City, Md.).
Norwich Leaders
The Cadets will return to the course this weekend when they travel through the Green Mountains to compete in the Duke Nelson Invitational hosted by Middlebury College.
