HANOVER, N.H.- The Norwich University men's hockey team finished its 2025–26 exhibition slate Sunday afternoon with a matchup against Division I Dartmouth College Sunday afternoon. It's the first meeting between the two programs in exhibition play since Oct. 21, 2012.
The Big Green struck early and never looked back, scoring twice in the opening period and adding two more goals in each of the final two frames. Throughout the contest, the Cadets continued to battle and generate opportunities.
Goaltenders
Sami Molu (Toronto, Ont.) and
Bryce Walcarius (Aylmer, Ont.) split time in net for Norwich, combining to make 28 saves. Molu stopped 19 shots in the first half of the game, and Walcarius turned aside nine in relief.
After rounding out the preseason portion of the schedule, Norwich will open the regular season on Nov. 1 when fourth-ranked Curry comes to town for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop. Before the game, legendary commentator George Commo will be honored after receiving the 2025 American Hockey Coaches (AHCA) Jim Fullerton Award.
