BARRE, Vt. - For the second straight year, the Norwich Men's Golf team has won

the Tony Mariano Invitational. This year, the invitational was held at the Country Club of Barre in Barre, Vt. The invitational is named after the long time Norwich University athletic director Tony Mariano who retired in May of 2022.
The Norwich Grey team took home the title with a score of 306, narrowly edging out New England College who finished at 309. The rest of the field was MCLA (320), Castleton (327), Keene State (328), Emmanuel (338), Norwich Maroon (343), and Vermont State University - Johnson (368).

Norwich Grey was led by
Cooper Bertrand (Caledon, On.), who continues to have an excellent season, shot a 71 and tied individually for 1st.
Harrison Giambattista and
Thomas Riddick both came in at 77, followed by
Tyler Orton at 81 and
Dylan Hartanto at 94.
On top of defending their Tony Mariano Invitational title, the Cadets have won their only dual meet of the fall while having several other strong showings so far this season.
The Cadets will travel to the Emmanuel Invitational for a midweek competition before heading down to Castleton University this weekend for the Castleton Invitational.
