NORTHFIELD, Vt. - Emily Baugus '13 will be the final member of the 2023 Hall of Fame Class.  During her Norwich career, Baugus distinguished herself both academically and athletically.  She was a three-time National Champion in women's rugby.  The Construction Engineering Management major also graduated with minors in Engineering Science and Business Administration while earning Summa Cum Laude honors.

Baugus was the Captain of the 2012-13 women's rugby National Championship team which will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year.  The four year starter was a dominant player for the rugby program which won National Championships in 7s both in 2011 and 2012 as well as the 15s title in 2012.  She graduated as the program's all-time leading scorer with 677 points

The Army ROTC member was selected as a Distinguished Military Graduate her senior year.  Baugus has since served in US Army Aviation and is currently an Assault Aviation Company Commander stationed in the Republic of Korea.  This summer Baugus will return to the United States to begin graduate school at Vanderbilt University's Peabody School of Engineering.
