NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich University Women's Ice Hockey team continued their roll in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) play with a 2-0 shutout of Plymouth State Friday night at Kreitzberg Arena.

The Cadets poured on the pressure early and often, and they would break through seven minutes into the opening frame. On an odd man rush
Ann-Frederique Guay (St-Lambert-de-Lauzon, Que.) found
Taylor Girouard (Burlington, Mass.) on a give-and-go after an outlet from
Aimee Headland (Nottingham, U.K.) to break the ice. The same forward line would connect on the next and final goal in the second period.
"It was nice to be back in our home rink tonight," said Head Coach
Sophie Leclerc Doherty. "I thought we were excellent in the offensive zone. Ann-Fred, Taylor and Aimee were tremendous all night leading the way for us in all aspects of the game."
Norwich was dominant throughout finishing with a 36-12 shot advantage. Junior
Leocadia Clark (Stowe, Vt.) earned her sixth win of the season and fourth shutout. The Cadets will look to continue their stellar NEHC play when they host in state rival Castleton Saturday at 3 PM.
