NORTHFIELD, Vt.- The Norwich University Volleyball team closed out the regular season by sweeping a tri match with Regis and Anna Maria Saturday at Andrews Hall.

First was a matchup with Regis which began in the Pride's favor with Regis who jumped out to a 7-1 lead in the opening frame and never trailed afterwards in the set. The Cadets would draw to within 17-15 but the Pride ended the set strong with one of sophomore
Kamdyn Tenorio's (Irvine, Calif.) three aces, a game high. Regis had eight aces to Norwich's four.

 The script was flipped in the second set when the Cadets took a 10-9 deficit and turned it into a 17-10 lead and would end up 25-15. Despite Regis holding a 12-11 advantage in kills, they also committed nine errors.

The third set concluded with the same 25-15 score but it was a different tale with the Cadets outkilling the Pride 13-7 highlighted by senior
Ana Lopez (Laredo, Texas) and junior
Leah Matthewson (North Chelmsford, Mass.) who finished this game with the most kills for Norwich. Lopez had 14 while Matthewson had 10. Also prominent for the Cadets was
Sarah and Laura Farnum (North Andover, Mass.) Laura had a game high in digs with 35 while Sarah had a game high 34 assists.

The fourth and final set was similar to the second in that the Pride held a 12-10 advantage in kills but committed ten errors leading to a Cadet victory 27-25. Prominent for the Pride was senior
Rita Dow (Nashua, N.H.) Â who had a game high 15 kills.

Norwich kept the good time rolling when they met Anna Maria after having senior day festivities where the only point where the Cadets trailed was at the beginning of the third set.

The Cadets dominated the Amcats in nearly every category. Individual standouts include Matthewson who added another 10 kills, and senior
Maggie McNeil (Gilford, N.H.) who in her last regular season home game set a career high in digs with 31 and was tied with graduate student
Addison Schroeder (Apple Valley, Calif.) for the game high in aces with three.
