PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Norwich University Volleyball team fell in straight sets to a second place Johnson & Wales team in their Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Quarterfinal matchup Tuesday night.

In the first two sets the Wildcats were dominant throughout in every statistical category highlighted by Peyton Oliver (Ramsey, N.J.) having 17 kills along with two blocks. Kyra Hissner (Clinton, N.J.) was also prominent with her 36 assists.

The Cadets came back in the third set in an attempt to keep their season alive, but would eventually fall 25-23. Leading the way was senior Ana Lopez (Laredo, Texas) and her nine kills, and senior Sarah Farnum's (North Andover, Mass.) 20 assists and junior Laura Farnum (North Andover, Mass) with her seven digs.

This draws the 2022 season to a close for the Cadets after closing out the regular season on a six game win streak.
